Mike has been busy at work trying to figure out how he is going to use up all his vacation time before the end of the year. Let's just say I will see a lot of him in December! Hopefully we can relax a bit, now that we know his job is secure since his company was purchased by a larger corporation. We are heading down to Victoria mid-December for a company Christmas party, Hannah's birthday, and Christmas with my family.
Hannah is eagerly anticipating her birthday..only a month away. She wants to go to the zoo and get ice cream in New Orleans. Such big plans for a little girl!
Life is good here. I hope everyone else is eagerly anticipating the upcoming holidays. Here are just some random pictures taken over the past few weeks.
Happy Fall, Y'all!
I should have taken this picture a few weeks ago when my mums were blooming.
All my fall decor has been packed away for three years. I think it fits nicely in the house.
Fireplace mantel and my "office" nook.
This is not the greatest picture because this corner is dark. We found this computer armoire at an unfinished furniture store and stained it ourselves. It works great in this space between the master bedroom and the living room.
I love pumpkins..
Hannah modeling her Harley Davidson winter hat Pee paw bought her.
Finally, our garden produced something..We only got a few strawberries this summer. I gave it another shot this fall. It is doing much better. First green beans..she ate the whole pot. I think Mike and I got five a piece.
